The numbers of robberies, thefts, rapes, bodily harm and homicides grew throughout the state of São Paulo in March, compared to the same period in 2021.
Thefts in general increased by 52%. They jumped from just over 33,000 to 50,467 occurrences in March. Overall robberies are up 22%. From almost 17 thousand to close to 21 thousand occurrences. Intentional homicides, when there is intent to kill, grew from 237 to 241.
